The training covers extensive hands on session where students can participate and completes various skills and learning stations on the manikins.

Training in training the providers the skills of:

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Instructor
  • Adult and pediatric CPR (including 1 rescuer, 2-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask)
  • Foreign-body airway obstruction
  • Use of Automated External Defibrillation (AED) with CPR.

  • This course is designed to train the trainers the skills of CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator and relief of choking.
  • The course is video-based with instructor-led discussion and simulation. Students participate in, practice and complete various skills and learning stations.
  • Instructors will enhance their skills in training the providers for the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.
  • Students engage in simulated clinical scenarios that encourage active, hands-on participation through learning stations where students will practice essential skills individually as part of a team and as team leader.
